Record suspensions (Pardons): Applying to remove a criminal record: Join us on April 22, 2025 at 10 a.m.
People with criminal records can apply to the Parole Board of Canada for record suspensions to have their convictions removed from their criminal record. A record suspension used to be called a pardon. In this seminar, Community & Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP) will share information about who can apply for a record suspension. CLASP will also explain the process, including what documents are needed and how to fill out forms. We hope to raise awareness of this opportunity to apply for record suspensions, and to provide tips on how to navigate it.
