Supporting Black and racialized families: An approach to navigating the youth justice system: Join us on February 25, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.

Black families are exposed to challenging circumstances when navigating the Youth Justice System. The court procedures, probation and conditions that the youth must abide by, are some of the things that they will have to deal with, most are not well informed of the different processes that will take place on this journey.
In this webinar, we’ll discuss:

Assessing client matters for anti-Black racism: Join us on February 19, 2025 at noon

This webinar for legal professionals, will look at case scenarios in which clients allege to have experienced anti-Black racism and other intersecting Code grounds. This will include discussion of principles to keep in mind when evaluating cases for anti-Black racism and developing an application theory. We will explore key considerations in drafting HRTO applications, common errors to avoid, and strategies to address Tribunal requests for additional evidence/submissions.
