Towards Just Care

Towards Just Care is a SSHRC-funded community-engaged research project focused on finding socially just alternatives to residential long-term care. Their primary focus is on mapping the current home-based medical care and support services available in Ontario and analyzing these systems from the perspective of disability and migrant justice.

Bar Council of England and Wales

Access to Justice Foundation

The Access to Justice Foundation is the UK’s only national charity solely focused on providing funding and support for access to legal advice and representation. They raise funds and distribute them strategically to organizations that provide free legal advice to the most vulnerable in society.

Courtprep

Courtprep was originally created in 2003 as a bilingual, interactive educational resource to help young people prepare for testifying in court. It provides a virtual courtroom tour and included an explanation of court proceedings and witness preparation tips in an engaging way.

Disability Justice Network Ontario

The Disability Justice Network of Ontario (DJNO) aims to build a just and accessible Ontario, wherein people with disabilities:

Have personal and political agency
Can thrive and foster community
Build the power, capacity, and skills needed to hold people, communities, and institutions responsible for the spaces they create
