Temporary and Permanent Residence Pathways for Child Welfare Survivors

Learn about temporary resident permits and a new permanent residence pathway for people who were in state care. People who came to Canada under the age of 19 and were in state care for at least 12 months may be eligible to apply. The permanent residence pathway is available until January 21, 2027.
