Income Benefits during COVID-19: Updates and review of provincial and federal benefits and how they interact

Recorded on February 4, 2021

The federal government introduced new and temporary income benefits last year to help people cope with the impact of COVID-19. At the same time, the provincial government introduced temporary financial supports, particularly for those on Ontario Works (OW) or the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP).

Join us to understand which federal and provincial benefits are still available, how these benefits interact, and what you can do to address any issues that may arise as a result of accessing these benefits, such as dealing with an overpayment. Our legal expert will share up-to-date and practical information for frontline workers to support their communities.
