The Canadian Human Rights Act: Who is covered, What is discrimination, What are Prohibited Grounds? – a legal literacy activity

With the support of the Canadian Bar Association Law for the Future Fund, the Community Law School (Sarnia-Lambton) Inc., in cooperation with the Organization for Literacy in Lambton, has created a series of Legal Literacy Activities.

This legal literacy activity, one in a series on the Canadian federal human rights process, covers various aspects of the Canadian Human Rights Act. Adult learners are prompted to read a study guide sheet and review short case studies in order to answer questions about what employers and service providers are covered under the Canadian Human Rights Act and what the prohibited grounds of discrimination are under the Act.
