Sentencing of Youth under the Youth Justice Criminal Act (YCJA) – a legal literacy activity

With the support of the Canadian Bar Association Law for the Future Fund, the Community Law School (Sarnia-Lambton) Inc., in cooperation with the Organization for Literacy in Lambton, has created a series of Legal Literacy Activities.

This legal literacy activity, one in a series on youth criminal justice issues, provides information about sentencing under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA). Learners are prompted to review information on the Justice for Children and Youth website about the youth criminal sentencing process, and answer questions based on their readings.
