Know Your Rights is a series of public legal information video case studies to empower Ontarians who are blind, partially sighted, and Deafblind to better understand their rights, navigate the legal system, and self-advocate to challenge discrimination. These videos were produced by the Canadian Association for the Blind (CNIB) Foundation with the support of The Law Foundation of Ontario.
There is also a companion series of legal information handbooks available in PDF, DOC, Braille, and DAISY formats in video format about common problems faced by people who are blind, partially sighted, and Deafblind available here: https://cleoconnect.ca/resource/know-your-rights-legal-information-handbooks
In addition to the formats listed below, the handbooks are also available in Braille or DAISY formats upon request - you can obtain these by emailing knowyourrights@cnib.ca.
