Public Legal Education and Information in Ontario Communities: Formats and Delivery Channels

In recent years, the Internet and other technologies have significantly expanded the opportunities for reaching people with legal information. This study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of formats and delivery channels in this evolving context. Building on recent major civil legal needs studies,this research aims to gather contextualized, qualitative information to deepen our knowledge base. Section 1 outlines the research methodology used. Section 2 presents and discusses observations from service providers on formats and delivery channels organized around five themes. Section 3 identifies general themes and findings relating to PLEI formats and delivery channels.
