This report highlights access to justice efforts across Canada in 2020, according to an established framework for accessible justice in Canada which is revisited annually. This year's report contains a special feature on justice sector responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Projects and data captured in the report are shared on an annual basis with the authoring organization by justice sector organizations across the country, to create an ongoing record of sustained commitment to improving access to justice. The justice sector organizations who contributed information to the authoring organization are involved in the ongoing delivery of legal services, law reform or public education, operating courts, administering the justice system, and training legal professionals.
