The Board of Negotiations (BON) is a tribunal board of Ontario that negotiates the settlement landowners get for the land that have been seized by the state.
The BON deals with compensation for land expropriations. When an authority expropriates land, the owner of that land may disagree with the amount of money the authority offers. If that happens, the land owner or the authority can ask the BON to help negotiate a settlement.
