211Ontario.ca provides an extensive list of community and social services from across Ontario related to Mental Health / Addictions Services. In most communities in Ontario, you can dial 211 to access telephone-based informaton and referral services  24 hours a day, 7 days a week in over 100 languages.

The following kinds of Mental Health / Addictions Services services can be found using 211Ontario:

Including substance abuse, smoking cessation and compulsive gambling.

Structured support groups for people struggling with addictions, as well as their families and friends.

Withdrawal and treatment programs for individuals experiencing alcoholism, drug addiction, compulsive gambling, eating disorders and food addiction.

Counselling, treatment and support for children with mental health concerns.

Community-based centres that provide counselling, therapy, treatment, medication and other services, on an outpatient basis.

Telephone response for emotional support, crisis intervention and suicide prevention.

Mental health counselling and treatment for older adults.

Emergency mobile crisis response and walk-in services for individuals experiencing a serious crisis.

Services for individuals involved with the criminal justice system who have a mental health background, including diversion programs.
